Faculty and Staff

Mrs. Mary Moore is a graduate of the University of Dallas, and holds a BA in English and a Master's in Humanities.  She taught high school English for six years in the classroom before homeschooling her own children for a decade. 

Mrs. Moore was a reporter and columnist for The Catholic Sun Newspaper and is a published author. Her book Rocking the Cradle Catholic: Raising Little Saints in a Lukewarm Culture was published in 2005. 

Before becoming the Second Grade teacher at Ville de Marie, Mrs. Moore served as the P.E. Teacher, a regular Substitute, and the High School Varsity Women's Basketball Coach for seven years.

She and her husband Mark have five children, three of whom attend VDM and two of whom are VDM graduates. She loves spending free time with friends and family.
